Koralia Powerheads

I have 2 old style 4's and a new Evo 1400...Evo is MUCH smaller, controllable, and has the "anti-vibration" mount...silent operation. Always heard a buzz with the old 4's. Got the 1400 off eBay new for $44. Gonna try to sell the 4's and get 2 750's...too much flow right now with both 4's.

If anyone wants the 4's, I have 2, sell both with S&H anywhere in the Continental U.S. for $50.

 

The Evolutions are totally silent, I have to be standing next to the tank watching them to tell when they switch. I have had them switching at 30 second intervals on my RKL for about 6 months now with no problems whatsoever. I have honestly only cleaned them twice in the time I have had them. best of all they are much smaller than the K4's they replaced and only draw an honest 6 watts on a Kill A Watt meter compared to the 15-16 watts the K4's drew.

 

In just got 2 750s and a 240. I put them in an extra 29g tank last night to mix up some saltwater, extremely quiet. I had all 3 running and couldn't here anything. They did turn the 29g tank into a whirl pool though lol...

 

I just purchased four of the EVO1050s and had no issues since. Great pumps.

The links you provided are not good deals.As someone posted already, petmountain has the evo750 for $26. Im sure theres a coupon or deal for free shipping or small discount.

 

Petmountain has somes great prices.. I spoke to Hydor today & they told me to go with the EVO 1400. The tech has a twin to my 90gal & that's what he uses on the same wavemaker. Going to order my this week.

 

I have 2 K4's and 2 Evo's and they are great!
I would get them from big al's....they usually have good prices.

Nope...but PetMountain still does. Al's went off sale last Monday (10/18/10).

 

yes i love the evos i have 4 1400s in my 120 and they are flawless.

 

Love them. I have a K-4 and a Evo 1400. They are worth the price.
