Koralia Selection for 65g

Having owned the regular K4's I would have held out for the Evolutions deal or not. I got my Evo 1400's today and they are awesome! I'll post a review tomorrow once I get done loading the photos and finishing my Kill A Watt tests.

As for a return pump neither of your choices would be mine. The Ocean Runner 2500 or 3500 or Eheim 1260 or 1262 would be my only choices. I have literally had two Quiet Ones go up in flames, fire and smoke and everything and Mags ar too noisy, hot and power hogs, again based on personal exprinc with 4 of them.

 

I ended up going with the mag 7 before I read this. I would have prefered the Evo's and an Eheim, but they were a little out of my budget. I can always upgrade later.

What are you thoughts on a Bubble Magus NAC6 for a skimmer...I am trying to stay under $150.

 

Sorry, no experience there. I still use an old AquaMedic Turboflotor 1000 with an Ocean Runner 2700 pump on it, had it almost 7 years now and still plugging away on the original pump. Can't say the same for the Mags on my calcium reactor, been changed out twice, then to one of the Quiet Ones that burned up and now a Hydor Seltz 25.
