    750s or 1050s for sure.
I have two 1400s in my 100G reef along with a Oceans Motions two way on the OR3500 retirn pump and the flow is marginal even with 330 lbs of Southdown sand in the tank.
The tank contains SPS, LPS, ricordeas, zoanthids, leathers and several RBTA anemones too and all do well.

I am starting my 72 gallon and have the Koralia Magnum 5, it feels like its too much flow. I think 2 750 should be good. what kind of retrurn pump are you using??

I have an Ocean Runner 3500 going through the OM Squirt two way into bulkheads with Loc Line nozzles in each back corner. The return rate is probably 750-800 GPH.

nice i like it how many pounds of rock is that? everyone here is saying 4 750's or 1050's that sounds like crazy flow.. i have a mag 9.5 that returns to the tank and also t's to my fuge so with head loss i prob have like 750- 800 gph.. i was going to do 2x 750's one in the lower right corner blowing up to the left side where ill have the second pointing down so they crash and then a small 250 behind the rocks

No they will not be too much flow. Place them like you were planning in post 14.
