Well hydor is awesome and has helped me replace broken parts, well the prop in my k2 was de-magnatized so they sent a replacement and I opened the box and was like hmmm this prop seems alot bigger, well I slapped it in the k2 just to check and mother of god this thing pushs way more water than the standard prop. Im really thinking its a k4 prop. If I run this will it do anything to my powerhead, i turned it on and it runs smooth so idk?

 

well recap on this, i put it in my tank and well mother of god flow like ive never had before and my fish like it alot. Now tomorrow to re-do my coral placement since things are blowing around

It should be fine, I believe smaller magents won't fit into bigger Ks, so they probably just sent you the same size magnet with a larger prop.

 

hmm..maybe this will save some people some money in the future!

 

hmm, this gives me some ideas for my own tank... now where is my spare K's? I might do some experimenting with my flow too now.

 

ya its insane, this pushs as much flow as my k4, im really not kidding. some of my up top corals had to be placed at bottom do to way to much flow. i took my k4 apart and compared the props and there identical.
