    Hey Mike

fish can change colour as an indication of mood
I know its only a small Koran at present, but it cannot possibly understand that when it gets bigger so will its surroundings?

maybe , just maybe as I am not a trained human phsycologist never mind a fish one,
its showing an indication that it would prefer to be in less confined quarters?

they recomend at least 100 gallon tanks for many of these larger Angel fish species
they are cruisers rather than fish that stay in territories like Eels etc ( with fish that establish territories and dont stray far from them, your normally not so bad if you place small specimens in less than perfect tanks size wise)

I would be happy to be proven wrong on this , believe me

Mike that looks in bad shape to me
do you find it is spending a lot of time going up and down the tank glass sides?
if so, then thats a definite sign its not happy where it is and is looking for an exit so to speak

stray voltage? do you have a ground probe? - do you get a tingle if you put finger in the tank ?

I cant see a problem in your params to be honest so maybe Im well of target here

Im using "feel" rather than any definitive experience

Possibly stress. Its been a long week for that poor fish. Got it monday while all my other fish were out being treated for ick so there would be less aggression for his homecoming. Also moved rock around so he could claim territory first. Wednesday I moved the fish back from QT. Last night I started noticing the fading. What type of vitamins or garlic would you recommend I add to his food to help him through this? And should I move him into QT. I have a fully cycled set up sea horse tank awaiting the horses I could move it into.

Its been spending most of its time hanging out near the top by the veggie clip. Grazing a little.

No ground probe and no I dont feel a tingle.
