As you may know, Omega 3 fatty acids have been touted by the American Heart Association for years as beneficial to your heart and vascular system in general. Well, there is current research going on regarding Omega 3 and certain eye diseases- mainly macular degeneration, an aging degeneration of the retina inside your eye. As I work for a retina practice, I was doing some research on the internet regarding Omega 3. Lo and behold- krill contain the purest and most potent form of Omega 3! There are several websites selling "Neptune Krill Oil", among other things. So, fellow reefers, what's good for your fish is also good for you! Eat up!:-X

Good to know, but I don't think I'm going to be popping down any freeze dried krill from the LFS any time soon ;D
