    No, little tornados. More concerned about the weight on the floor of my second floor apartment.

    Um yeah, I would be worried about that as well. Does the apartment manager know about the tank? I have heard of managers making people tear down their tanks before. That would be a lot of water damage if that springs a leak lol. I know in WA, you can usually only have a 10 gallon tank in apartments. Just something to think about.

    I told them they said as long as I have renters insurance its not an issue. The floors are i believe wood trusses I'm hoping metal (not sure) but it has a cement layer too shouldn't be an issue

    They actually said they wanted to see it when I geot it going because they thought it was an awesome idea. (maybe just a sneaky trick lol) They are pretty straight forward so I doubt it.

    Wow, you can use some help with the silicone lol. They make caulking tools to help out as well. I guess I should have mentioned that earlier lol.

    caulking is a terrible exercise in frustration and failure. I hate it whether in an aquarium or bathroom :-(

    Great.... worst case I cut it out and do it again. i knew i should have refreshed on the you tube silcone videos. Told you it was bad. Update on stand: decided to make cabinent doors instead of one large lift off piece maybe pics of stand together tomorrow.(FINISHED!!) maybe
