Wasn't sure where to post this. It's time for the Cincinnati area frag swap. Well almost. The anual swap will be on Dec. 4th. Just a heads up. Should be a good one this year!

Yay, planned way ahead of time! I'm across the state though. Not sure about that as far as the ride home. :-/

No problem. Me too. I don't know anyone in northwest Ohio who has a reef tank. lmao.

Will corals be alright for 4-5 hour winter drive back to my house? 5g bucket and a battery air pump? lol. Crap, what about a heater/heat pack?

heat pack sounds like a good idea to me for corals Im not sure you would need to worry about oxygen as long as you get large bags for the corals and have a good air to water ratio in the bag
or if you can get one of those polystyrene boxes that fish and corals etc are shipped across the globe in, that will help insulate

the journey time of 5 hours is no issue at all IME

I live in Akron OH. I would be interested in going. This would be my first swap. I have been into saltwater for about eight months now.
Does it cost anything to attend? Can I bring someone? Are they just coral frags, or fish as well?
