Just a heads up for you folks. There is expected to be high winds today, with gust between 50-60 mph. As a result there may be some power outages. Make sure you are prepared!

Thanks , 4phish, i am grateful to see you've posted this. here in Evansville we had lots of power outages, ours went out briefly but i was prepared and was able to make sure a friend had his prepared as well.

No. prob. I guess the storms weren't as bad here as predicted. There are a few thousand around me with out electric. I guess I got lucky. Others should take caution as the storm moves north east.

Good lookin' out 4phish! I live on the West coast but glad to see ur looking out for us all. K+ to you for giving everyone back east a heads up!

 

We got hit just before 5,it got pretty gusty and there was a tornado that touched in the northeast of my county,no major damage reported as of yet, i live in the southwest section of the county.Allthough it did blow some alum flashing loose near the top of my roof that i'll have to go tack back up tomorrow and my lawn furiture is everywhere now,wasn't too terrible here though,still have power.

 

Went though my town while I was in school! Luckily there were no tornadoes. Just some very strong winds and only a tornado watch.
