I am having a problem with this frag. It has been growing and spreading at a pretty fast rate but I cannot get any polyp extension out of it. When I bought it it was a pretty sunset monti. Now it's just a red monti. I moved it down from the light a bit during the aquascaping changes and I'm hoping that helps. The flow on it may have decreased a tiny bit but it is still getting a nice amount of flow. Could too much light be the cause of poor polyp extension and coloration?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
The other corals are just beautiful.

All you can do with the Montipora is try different placement. The other corals are doing wonderful so it's not the tank, just placement of that particular coral.
