    What did you use under the tank? It makes it appear as though there is a sand layer, but it looks BB.

    Brand of MH bulb please.

    I used foam to set the tank on but what you;re seeing that looks like sand is me being lazy and not removing the brown sticky paper they cover the acrylic with so it doesn't get scratched.. ha i just never took it off..

    I have tried a few bulbs but the ones i am most happy with all around and have been using for a few years now are the 150w Phoenix 14k.. I still cant decide what T-5 combo i like tho ha.. Right now i am just running all blue+.(they arent on in those pictures tho, way too much blue for the camera)

    It goes whithout saying you have put a lot of thought into your lagoon. It is very refreshing to see such a different looking system. I love it when someone thinks outside of the box. I am sure have inspired more than one person with you very well done project.
    Do you have a vision for a new or different set up?
    Your livestock is top notch and looks very healthy.
    This hobby takes a considerable amount of time ,knowledge, and money.My hat is off to you for a job very well done.
