    Hello:)

Here is my new return pump in lieu of my Dart and close loop Water Blaster 16000's.......It uses the Askoll pump made in Italy at 4200gph @ 160 watts. I will leave this one in the cage for my system return then i will have two inline working my close loop part:)

    Interesting pump..

Was this part of your reason for picking it? If so, how do you think it will help you?

"Max-Flo pumps are designed to process water loaded with moderate amounts of suspended solids and transport them to suitable external filter systems which then trap any debris that could potentially pollute pond water, effectively filtering the pond."

My guess would be the enrgy efficincy. Compare it's efficiency with other external pumps and you will see the difference. The Laguna Max-Flow is simply one of the best pumps on the market. Kind of one of those secrets that the masses don't know. Here in SoCal it is commomly used as a return pump. (Although I don't know anyone that keeps it in the cage. It will protect it from snails though.)

    I agree

I agree with gcarroll one of the best secrets going.....these pumps are killer and you can't beat the price:) I have sold my new Reeflow and Water Blasters in lieu of these i will have 3 4200's and 4 1500's running my reactors and skimmer.

    MaxFlow 4200

Sometimes you find a product that puts a smile on your face and MaxFlows did for me:) I was able to knock 20% off my powerbill which is huge by switching to these pumps. And they are quite....and powerfull and as stated Askoll pump made in Italy which are known for building nice pumps. Great price and 4 yr. warr. plus electronic chip that controls spin and power.

Awesome... I was just looking for a high flow pump to run a few reactors, an algae scrubber and my return.. I think I just found a winner. Thanks for the tip.

Wow, I just looked up the specs on it. The really pull away in efficiency as they get bigger.
