Well, you criticized what I said but did not say what you don't agree with (do you actually agree that using a computer has absolutely no harm. Ever?).
All I was trying to say was that because there is no conclusive evidence for the long term effect that doesn't mean it's absolutely safe. A long time ago, people were debating the effect of smoking... DuPont still claims that the PFOA's in their non-stick coating does not cause cancer.
Scientists and doctors can't figure out the long term effect of laptops and cell phones (they suspect there will be such an effect) but you and me and whoever else here can? Because that was what you and a few more people here hurried up to do - oh, it's fine, you have absolutely no worries. So I just said that we couldn't possibly know that and it doesn't hurt to be careful. That in no way means don't use a laptop. But keep in mind that everything is excess in not good for you :) That's all I was trying to say. Obviously, that's not what you got because you said I was rather rude. Again, that wasn't the idea and I appologized :)

About your population growth argument - it is well known that the lowest social classes and those affected the most by poverty contribute to the population growth the most (in any country or culture not just the US). Now think about all the laptops they are buying and using and tell me that population growth is an evidence that cellphones and laptops don't affect fertility in any way.
