I glued the chambers to the back of the tank. The black strips on the face of the chambers is a fix. I glued the strips to the side of the tank 1/2'' too deep. No big deal.
The white lines in the return area are for the pumps to set on.

The skimmer is from the 20 AIO I will run 2 of them untill I upgrade to the BH-1000

Remember me saying that the top bracing was going to be an issue. It runs right down the center of the skimmer chamber. I will cut it out and put one on each side of the chamber.

Now that all the inside work is done I need to cover the ends of the tank were the false wall is and add some trim around the top and bottom of the tank.

OK I am ready for my first flow test.
Nov of 09 I was on a man made rock mission. Here are a couple I will use in this tank. They have had plenty of time to cure.

    Thanks Blue,
I have to admit, It is running as I am typing. The best is yet to come. I had a couple of issues in the trouble shooting part of the tank. As with most things you build for the first time there is always something that will come up that you did not plan for. Stay tuned.

The stand was built Nov 09. Sorry no pick of the build. I used 3/4'' plywood for the sides, front, back, and doubled it up for the top. All sides are solid sheets with the openings cut out for the doors. The doors are plywood with an arch cut out and beadboard inserts. I lined everything with 1/4'' whiteboard. it will be easy to keep clean.
The tank will sit right next to the entry to the kitchen. There is a step up right at that point. I had to build a platform for the stand to sit on at the same height as the step. I made it so you can remove it if and when the tank is to be removed or relocated.
The blue tank in the stand is a freshwater holding tank for the ATO it holds 7 gal. I am hoping this will be enough to last a week.
The wife picked the color to match a wall in the dinningroom and I pick the gloss black to match the tank trim.
