ur tank is so beautiful i love the sand less bottom

 

The transfer was from 2 20gal AIO. The Toadstool, clowns, Pom Poms, Mushrooms, Zoas, Hammer. And all the liverock came from the 20s. All the manmade rock was cooked an added. Most of the rock is manmade. The tank has been running since mid Jan. So far so good. I had to deal with a couple of leaks in the tank. I had to break it down for two days to silicone around the bottom. Come to find out a week later it was leaking at the top. After cutting the overflow teeth deeper.(while the tank was full of livestock) and siliconing the top corners thee leak stopped. Since then it has not leaked and everything seems to be doing great.
I want to redo the hood to make maint. easier. I am afraid I will bust a bulb while cleaning the inside of the tank. It is APITA to remove the hood.
I really like the bare bottom. It is easier to keep clean, and with it being an Aio it should help my water quality in the long run.

Quick update on the barebottom cleaning.
I got the powerheads in the right location to make small piles at the front of the tank. It is a breeze to suck it up during WC.
