    I dont think the urchin did any of that. But you never know.

    Could be the fin healing from a tear,
    Possible Infection
    or just the fishes color coming out. granted not the norm but patterns can always be different!

    I think he will be fine. Mine had scratches all over his fin and it healed up within a few days.
