Ok, so i have a very large Long Polyp Toadstool that is about 12" in diameter. The stalk(??) is about 4" in diameter. It has grown to the point that the edges of the coral are brushed up agains the aquarium glass. I am not sure what to do...Any thoughts???

Frag it! cut around the edge with a razor blade or exacto Knife or scissors till its the size you want it to be.
Then and cut what you cut off of it into smaller pieces and attach it to frag plugs.

    Fraggin a Toadstool

The problem is that it is attached to a rock that cannot be removed from the tank...

Don't have to remove it do it in the tank, just run carbon before, during and after the cutting and it will be fine. It is just easier out of the tank thats all.

LOL - you can just about toss those in a blender and turn thousands of gallon into a toadstool farm ...

just try yo keep a nice clean shape when you trim it to help keep a nice shape

you can cut the base and re establish it to a new location
