    Beautful corals!!!

Can you elaborate on your experience with dino a bit please.

    How bad did it get?
    What did you do?
    How long did it last?
Did you see it effect the corals?

    TIA

I have had them before. It looks like snot with an airbubble at the end. There is not alot you can do about it, except let it run its course. Keep up with your maintenance (water changes etc.) I raise my PH to 8.4-8.5 with Reef Buffer by Seachem. That seems to help. I also will scrub down the rocks with a brush. (Lightly). As you stay in this hobby, you will learn that you really cant fight Mother Nature. Things in alot of cases are out of your control. All you can do is regulate the severity of them. Hope this helps!

Actually my tank is 3 years, but at the age of 2 it had a rather nasty go around with Dino, almost killed off all my zoanthids. Probably took about 3 months to go away. Water changes were of no use, the only thing that really made the difference for me was total blackouts of 4 days, cleaning it off daily and then cleaning the mechanical filters after the water cleared. I guess my questions were just an attempt to see trends.

    Thanks, again great tank.

Thanks for the Kudos!! I did not know you had that much experience. You understand then what I mean by not having complete control!!! LOL!
