Hey all I have a question about my Fav fish.

I have had my benny for two weeks and has eliminated almost all the GHA in the tank. Now that my refugium is working and nitrogen is under 5 ppm - I don't belive I will get an outbreak again.

So the problem is: What do I feed him/her now that the algae is mostly gone?

My lawnmower blenny will eat pretty much all of the same foods I feed the rest of my fish, including rods, flakes, and mysis.

If you haven't seen him eat, I wouldn't assume he has enough. Many people buy lawnmowers for algae that die of starvation once it's gone. I'd look for something meant for herbivores. Instant ocean makes herbivore grazing blocks and chips and pellets etc. You could try one of those.

Yea very good advise - I will make sure I find something for him to eat this week end. I still have algae so I know he is not starving :) He is actually very fat LOL

If he still has a fair amount of algae left, I wouldn't get too worried. He might just not be looking for alternative foods since he has so much to feed on. Anything you try, I would try again later when there is little algae very left. But it would be good to try something new before the little guy has nothing to eat.

Anyone have a issue with the size of there lm blenny vs other fish, I just gt one last night and my yellow tail damsel is acting weird toward him. He keeps backup up towards him and swimming away?
