Lawnmower Blenny question

Hey everyone! Does my LB look healthy? All he does is sit and watch tv all day. Does he look like he's getting enough to eat? I do catch him sometimes grazing on rocks, where there is no algae. I have no algae in my tank. If I feed nori sheets, everyone else seems to eat them before I see the LB eat any.

 

He looks the same as when I got him.

He looks healthy to me. My wife though there was something wrong with mine the other day because he is so fat he rest on belly instead of his fins.

 

hehe mine is the same way. he's almost as much of a pig as my puffer is!

Looks good to me too I have an eyelash of some sorts that's real similar to missions and a relative of the lawnmower. It does eat prepared food. Even meat ( Ive seen it eat mysis, brine, bloodworms, krill, and pods).
Are you sure he's not eating prepared or algae? Check to see if you have any in the overflow/bulkheads too, stuff like that. Mine will actually jump out of the water to go inside my HOB filter to get algae. Loves the skimmer basket also. Even once it swam against the current up my skimmer return line and into the return chamber. They have incredible determination and can get to the craziest of areas! So even if there is no algae on your rocks, I wouldn't automatically assume it's not getting algae

 

LOL about yours, but no, there is no way it's getting into my overflows and living to tell about it.


I'll take ya'lls words for it. I was just concerned since I've never seen him really eat anything. He does skim the back glass from time to time.

I have a eyelash blenny---defiantly a pig---but the lfs told me about Emerald entrée and everyone goes nuts for it--it's frozen. I think your blenny would like it too. Mine also looks like she's preggo most of the time.
