I wouldnt do it..It would eat all the algae within a few days and then it would starve..They need to eat algae to survive and thrive well..I had in a 29g a while ago and it lost alota color due to lack of algae..I fed it flakes still and it still had lack of color.

Thats what I thought. I had people say before that If I put some nori in there it would be fine. but I already don't have that much algae in there anyways. I would worry about him starving.

yea i wouldnt, but they also have a huge bio load, i had to set up a fuge after i got mine..but they are the coolest fish, best personality and just funny looking...

my LMB gets more attention in my tank with guests at my house than anything else..not really sure why..

and for food, my LMB eats everything, pellets, coralline, mysis, and whatever else he can scrape his mouth on,,a great cuc type member..if they didnt have a huge bio load they would be an even better fish

Yea I don't think i'll try it. Im going to get a tuxedo urchin tho.. but I worry about the same problem. I had a forum about that too haha. I just need to get more algae in my tank! I need to try some pellets or something when I get the urchin.

well unless your tank is new..make sure your params are in check..

when i switched to corallife salt i saw an increase in coralline..it mixes a littl higher numbers that suits my tank well..i no longer have to dose anything which is a huge advantage plus corallife salt is super cheap
