Hi everyone! I purchase a lawnmower blenny about 2 weeks ago and he's a great fish so far! He got rid of the algae growing on the glass. Now I'm getting worried he's gonna starve without any algae. I went to my lfs and they gave me some kind of frozen foods which is a herbivor diet. The thing is I don't see him eatting any of it. I also tried mysis shrimp but no luck. He keeps on trying to eat the algae on glass. Should I be worried? Does someone have one of these guys that can give me some tips? Do you need more info? I have him in my 29 gallon tank with live rock, live sand, some corals, a green bubble tip anemoni, one clown fish and some hermit crabs and a few snails. Water parameters are 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and very little nitrate but nitrate is not 0.

I was in the same boat a few weeks ago. I couldn't get him to eat dried seaweek cliped on the glass but after a few weeks he started eating flakes. Still won't eat frozen shrimp though.

Sorry guys when I went to go look for my thread I found it under tropical fish and thought I did it wrong so I went back and put it in the reef section. But thanks for the answers!
