    Hello All,

Just need to know what you all think! I have a 20 gal high with 2 O-Clowns, 1 Royal Gramma, 1 Lawnmower Goby, 2 peppermint, 8 crabs, and 9 snails. I got the lawnmower today and wanted him, because I want to see how well he will control the green hair algae. I looked him up on the net because my wife said that the clowns were acting spooked. I found out that he is not an aggressive fish for the most part, but can be if provoked. I did read where one lawnmower is all you really want unless they come as a pair from the LFS. I am interested in a Yellow Watchman Goby. Do you all think I can have these two gobies in the same tank, or will I have to trade the lawnmower for the watchman next time one arrives at my close by LFS. Let me know what you all think.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

I wouldn't add any more fish to your tank. Those two clowns can become quite territorial in that small of a tank, after all, they are from the same family as damsels. Personally, I would just go with the clowns and the lawnmower or the watchman, but then again I'm more of a coral guy and only have one clown in my 29 gal right now. Also, a 20 gal is a little small for a goby IMO.

Are you talking about a Blenny or a Goby? Because they are two diffrent things. A lawnmower blenny is a herbivore and eats Algae. A Scooter Blenny and most gobies are carnivores. I assume you mean Lawnmower Blenny in which case this is a very hardy and peacful fish that will do well and become fat and will not harm your fish. I have one in my tank and it shows no agression at all. Only when my angel gets a little to close does it even ge a little mad but nothing of concern. it is a fish that doesnt pick but is also hard to be picked on.
