    Is that normal for it to be on the glass? Shouldn't find a spot to permanently be at?

    it was on completly opposite side of tank then went to glass and now in corner but in the pics he is riding on a snail that passed by him

    yes it should stay still might be unhappy or still connected to the snail and the snail is dragging it around for kicks :D
