    Old wives tale!
You can have areas of high flow, medium flow, and low flow with hitches in each flow area so the horses can go where they want at any given time.
Many keepers find their horses deliberately swimming into the flow of a powerhead, going for the ride, and returning for more.
My Reidi fry hitch to the rigid air line and allow themselves to be buffeted by the air bubbles.

I also find mine at times hitching in front of the koralia nano. I think they like the higher flow sometimes.

At this point I'm not sure if I'm going erectus or fuscus, but leaning fuscus because they're smaller and might be happier in my tank. In reality it will probably come down to what's available because I'm so torn. I'm adding macros this weekend, caulerpas because they're so low light. Keep you posted,

I started an amphipod culture to feed as a little live food supplement for them. Heres a picture but the flash reflected in the water so its tough to see.

I added some macros. As soon as pod numbers get up I'll add a pair or trio of horses

On Thursday a trio of H. erectus males will arrive at my door. I'll post some pics then and keep everyone posted.

My erectus arrive tomorrow!!! They should be about 31/2 inches. Has anyone who's kept seahorses had horses that have kept cirri?

My Reidi female with cirri lost them in less than a year after I purchased her.
