    Yes, most all impurities end up as precipitate.

    I don't like Kalkstirrers for the same reason I don't like the slurry method (unless it's only periodic to maintain pH due to a CaRx). I don't think that anyone is saying don't use Kalk....I sure as heck do and will continue doing it. It's so cheap that I don't know why one (who has a lot of stonies) wouldn't.

    That makes me feel better.. I love using Kalk!!! Very cheap and simple to use..
