Leather coral......broken...

    The rock that my leather coral is on has broken....will the leather be ok?

    No looks totally ok. Just its broken right underneth and didnt know if it would effect the leather.

    I agree, if their is no tissue damage then should be fine however if their is a tear or rip in the base this can lead to infecting and the dimise of leathers( happened to me last year with a big colt coral in a avalanch in my tank.) solution/prevention = iodine dip

    It should be fine. Just keep an eye on the coloration and appearance of the stalk/stem of the leather. I would imagine that anything serious happening to the coral would be shown in that area IMO.
