    It was huge like 2 days ago and now it has shrunk and not opened the last 2 days almost looked like it had blotches on it ....any ideas?

    Can you post a pic?

    What type of leather? How long has it been in your tank? What type of lighting do you have? What are your exact parameters?

    Leathers will occasionally close for a few days and then shed, but without more info, we can only guess and hope that's the case.

    Depending on the leather it may be shedding, but like mentioned above, need a little more info to know for sure. Or at LEAST what kind of leather it is and your lighting... but your parameters would help aswell. And a pic if you possibly could.

    I had a small frag of a devil's hand that was doing great and getting big close for 7 days, I was convinced it was going to die. I was set to give it to somebody else or put it in a different tank when it opened back up bigger than before. I ended up selling that frag and I now have 7 other frags of that same mother colony in my 29 gallon that are doing great.
