After talking to a few of you, i think i've decided to go the led route! love the thought of not worrying about bulbs! But....

really in the dark as to what i need! gonna be mostly a sfotie and lps tank, maybe a few sps in the future!

I know al sol seems to be recommended. but are their already put together fixtures! Want to stay under $400 if i can! but not skimp, i'll wait if i must!

at marine depot they have some cheaper options; like
exocotic 48" 24 watt with differnet colors options for $99, would 3 of these work or...

current usa has a 48" 60 watt with differnet color options for $223

    any thoughts?
    thanks in advance

Lot's of choices around 399.00 and also DIY builds too. I have (2) 12000k
ApolloReefLights he uses 3 watt Bridgelux leds, 60 degree optics, fans (3) very well made and they have 12k,15k, and 20k. with dimmers. Check them out alot of information. Some good ones here with 3reef sponcers also.

    Good luck with your choice!
