    Ok. I've decided to take the plunge and go with LEDs. Now i don't know whether to do a DIY or buy one already assembled.

    If I do a DIY what will I need?

    Are they hard to assemble or relatively easy?

    All help will be absolutely amazing.

    It should be fairly easy for a tank that size.you will need a soldering iron,unless you get the solderless connectors.solder(preferably with flux core). A heat sink possibly cooling fans.leds,drivers,and resistors.also a good amount of wire.a digital multi meter would be a major plus.

    Watch a youtube vid on how to solder.if your comfortable with it then some patients and time and you'll be fine.:)
