I have a Rapid Cree DIY kit with 96 light on a 220. The drivers are there MW 60-48p dim. I know that the the blue and white wires go to the controller (rapid controller). My question is....instead of running each individual wire to the controller can I just run them continues? As in there are 6 drivers and I run 2 wires. One for blue and one for white. Then I connect each driver to the one wire going to the controller for pos and neg to control the dimming.

Will this work out fine or will I have to run 10 separate wires to the controller?

I hooked it up this way,but was wondering if I can keep it this way.

    Thanks

It depends on your controller, but most likely, Yes.

There is a minimum amount of power needed across those two wires for the driver to read it. The controller only puts out so much. Eventually, after adding drivers, the power is divided enough that the drivers are unable to "see" the signal.

For the Apex, this is somewhere between 6-8 drivers.
Not sure on any others without doing some research.
