The 92 is 24 inches deep. Im thinking about just going with the 27 inch for the extra $100.

Damn, I love the look of these lights but I dont know if its worth it for a tank that has a puffer and other aggressive fish in it. The only corals i will have are Mushrooms and Zoanthids as long as they dont get eaten.

Will these lights bring out the color of my fish more? Is it worth it for my tank?

LOL, your gonna love that light, the 27 should cover all but the very back corner of your tank very well when using the tank mount legs and the entire tank if hung a little higher. And yes it is a bit of overkill for softies and puffers, but if you want more corals at some point your ready, you can keep anything with that light and you'll love being able to adjust the color to your liking.

I'm guessing about 10-12 inches, just have to try it out when you get it.You'll have plenty of light, probably have to start out with the power turned down quite a bit, maybe 30-40%whites and 40-50% blues. Congrats and enjoy your new toy!
