Ok so over the holidays my wife and son decided to buy me a rapid led kit I had been looking at for a while. 48 dimmable diy kit, 24 cool white and 24 royal blue. So friday I placed my order on 2- 23" drilled heat sinks form Rapid led and also a controller from Boost called Typhon. will post pics on the build and progress.

What dimension tank do you have, Overboard II? I'm thinking of a similar LED. I'm eager to see how it goes for you.

My tank is a 90 gal 48"l x 18"w x 24" hight with about 3" brace in the top center.
With my order of heatsinks from Rapid led I have also ordered 2 uv stars and the 80 degree optics. I will see how they look and decide if I will place them with the royal blues or cool whites.
Also am looking to see if the Typhon controller that I ordered from boost led to see if I can control my fans, heater etc.

do you have dimmable drivers? I would think you would need that before you hooked up the controller.

I'm looking a way to automate lunar and dusk/dawn cycles with my Panorama pros but I need to order the Meanwell ELM60-24D to be able to connect it to a controller, but I don't even know how to connect the driver to my LED modules

Yes my kit came with 4 meanwell eln-60-48p dimmable drivers. And I will see how they do with lunar cycle. Since I have an older almost 10 years old set of LunarTracker led from lebos (out of buisness) they cycle with thier own controller full moon new moon etc 28 day cycle. I just replaced two of the leds with some blue ones from radio shack looks about the same.
As to your panoramas I'm sure someone has done this. Have you asked them at panorama.
