    I have a marineland reef capable led light. Most people said it was ok but I had growth and a healthy tank until sandy hit. Lost power and no back up things eventually died. Anyway my ac cord started to smoke and almost caught on fire. Any sites where I can get a new plug and the assembly it plugs into? I don't want to buy another light just yet.

    Have you contacted Marineland? They should offer a replacement for free; a fire hazard is not something to take lightly.
