Not sure what to go with, 14 or 24 DIY dimmable kit from aquastyle. I want to keep soft corals a clam and down the road some sps.

Am wondering if the 14 (7 white-7blue) would be good enough or should I get the 24 (12white 12 blue) for expansion. Say the 14 is good for softies, but not sps. Then I would go with the 24 and adjust the light down until I got sps down the road.

Any advise is more than welcome - thanks

Almost always get too much light if you can adjust it! I'd say get the 24 since its not much more! Also seriously consider upgrading to meanwell drivers!

14 is prob plenty though, even for a clam!

Thanks, but why upgrade the drivers? What is the benefit?

maxwell drivers are loud, get super hot and fail quick! Meanwells do the opposite of that!;)
