This is for my high school science fair project.

I will be testing PAR ratings available from LED lighting.

My main question was about PAR meters. I looked around & they seem to cost around $200-$300. Can a PAR meter be rented?

Look for a local reef club in your area, many times they will have someone in the club with access to one.

I'm not sure where WORC(Western Ohio rc) meets. That's my 'local' club. I've never been to a meeting.

Most likely. No photography classes at the local college or high school. Hmm that must be a small town. Lucky you I love small towns.

We have a photography class at my high school... I'm taking it now(new as of this semester), but the teacher doesn't know what she is doing & school is too cheap to buy slr cameras...so no, we can't get a PAR meter. lmoa.

I wonder if my chemistry teacher might have one?

There are some places that will rent them online, but they want a $500.00 deposit. So, they are pretty much useless option...
