ok so after advice from you fellow hobbyists I have decided to make the switch to LEDs and i have decided on one par30 lamp from boostled. but before i make a last decision I want to know if this will sufficiently light my 15 gal fowlr, soon to be reef tank? and if i don't buy that I wish to purchase ecoxotic stunner strips and if i purchase the strips can i mount them straight onto the tank without an expensive mounting system? my tank is 2' (L) 1' (w) and 1' (H)

You'll need two of the PAR30 Reef Lamps to give you adequate coverage.

are you serious or are you just trying to sell me something? I do appreciate your input and I love your products my local fish store uses them on their display tank.

i have the ecoxotic par38 at 40 degrees and at 2 feet above the substrate, it lights about a 10 inch diameter of good light, add that to your calculation, maybe youll want a 60 degree lamp but then youll have to go with lower light corals cuz boostled goes with 2w per led while ecoxotic is 3w per led

They are serious. Boostled knows their stuff. I can speak from experience here. I have one boostled par30 covering a 10x12 area and it has amazing coverage. Now, they are rated to 12x12 a piece.....your tank is 24 inches long. If they were just looking for a sale, they would have told you 3.
