I am having an issue with my DIY led build.

I have the 72 kit from aquastyle set to run on 3 meanwell eln 60-48P drivers. I had everything up and running well , drivers were balanced nicely until this morning.

Shortly after the first driver kicked on , ( 2 strings of Royal blue , run in Parallel) they turned off. When I checked , 1 of the 1amp fast blow fuses had popped. When I replaced it and tested across the resistor I got well over 1 amp. when I tested the other string 0.
I checked the the other fuse and it looked fine, even swapped it out just to be sure.
Still nothing. I tried retuneing the svr2 on that driver and still only get power across 1 string of the parallel.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

There is a bad connection in the string where you are getting no load whether it be a short or a bad solder. Or worse, it could be a bad LED.

Your circuit is basically telling you it cannot split the load over the second circuit in parallel so it is throwing the entire load on the good circuit. Good thing you used fuses.

ok, Ill pull and test connections. I didn't consider connection issues as it has been working for a week or so. Guess maybe a loose connection got worse.

    I will post results later

Hi, the driver can’t be using the first line if the second one is somehow stupid. That would be a wrong design as far as a driver is concerned. However, the simpler explanation can be that somehow the second line is getting shorted with a ground and the load is getting shifted to the first line due to bad connections. Please update with the results.
