That is it. They are plug-and-play. I'm pretty sure you can connect them as well so they run the same light cycle.

No I thought you were trying to put them under the light cover. Those two areas should work well. I think Seano's velcro idea will work best for you.

Cool! I think I will go with those then.

Are you talking about the ecoexotic or all
    LED strips in general?

I think you are thinking of the stunners?

No, this is a DIY dimmable kit with links to the products you would need. All you need extra are a heatsink and some sodering skills to connect the driver. You'd save about 50$ on 2 panos by going DIY

Yes, my mistake. The panorama fixtures are much more intense(meant for large tanks). lol...

I was talking about the stunner strips.

On the other hand...the panorama strips(originally meant for panorama fixture) could also be used.

Yup, I understood you, Sean ;) I hope to go with 2 royal blue ecoxotic stunners. My canopy is very close to the top of the tank though. Would there be any issues with evaporation or heat?

Stunners are just accents, no way you'd get enough power for SPS.
I originally thought you were talking about the Pano strips. You wouldn't be able to velcro them though, cuz the back is a heatsink, not flat.
