I think I am going to just get 2 stunners for now in addition To the PCs. I do not plan to go full SPS until my next tank upgrade. Do you think 2 blues will look good? Thanks to you both for helping ;)

Hmmmm... I will have to look at pictures of tanks with the violet on. Wouldn't it make the tank look A LOT less natural?

Yeah, a bit, but the corals will fluoresce like CRAZY! It will make them look like they are under a black light.

Go on www.boostled.com, and at the bottom of the PAR30 page they have pics of a violet LED over a solana.

I think I am going to pass on the violet LEDs, but I still like the blues. Are the ecoxotic LED strips better quality than the boost LED strip?
    Thanks

I've never seen what the Boost strips looks like over a tank.

There is no price listed on the Boost website for their LED strips.

Boosled hasn't released strips yet. They are mass manufactured and made by many different companies, under many names. Just like most LED fixtures. You should be fine with stunners. Go with 450NM.
These look better, and they use CREE XRE instead of 1W LEDs, you can get them on the drtim's site.

You could get 2 reef blues
