    No it doesn't.... the radion doesn't even compare when it comes to penetration for deep tanks. And 2 AI is more spread than 1 radion by a fair bit.

    I agree with everyone that the Radion has awesome features and puts out a great spectrum, but there's no denying that AI SOLs have been the subject of more trials and have received more good feedback than any other LED fixture ever created for reef aquariums. I'm not saying you should go either way, but I would like to point out that the all time favorite LED is being sold for ridiculously cheap for the simple fact that the market is saturated.

    In any case, I would hold out as long as you possibly can to see what Aqua Illumination has in store for us with the Vega. They changed the game once, so I won't be at all surprised to see them do it again.
