    If it's not designed for reef aquariums than it more than likely does not have the proper spectrum needed by your SPS.

    I will never understand why people want to buy cheap, no-name brand lighting products off of ebay.

    Why not get a proven name brand product, that is high quality, and will last for years, with customer service and a warranty?

    I agree, but in this case, the OP is 15 years old.

    If you have the opportunity, save up and but a rapidLED par38 or evil's par38 from nanotuners.

    No two brands of LED spotlights are truly equivalent and there are quite a few factors you need to take into account.

    Diode brand, driver brand, quality of heat sink, and most definitely the optics attached to the diodes. 40,60, and 80 degree optics produce vastly different par numbers at various heights.

    I'm betting your bulbs spectrum is just fine for photosynthesis.
