Would these be enough for a 55 gallon, and possible 90 gallon upgrade? If not alone then with my 4 54w T5? Looks like I can integrate these into my current fixture due to rail design.

    Worth 200?

    Thanks!

They are 8k/10k combo that is typically used for Freshwater applications. You would have to get some royal blues and blues to balance it out for coral use.

Haha kelvin ratings measure the temperature or color of the light. 6,500k would be yellowish 10,000k is white-yellow 14,000k is crisp white and 20,000 is blue. :) lower kelvin ratings=faster growth, less color, higher kelvin ratings=better color slower growth.

+1 to the above, and I would add that corals thrive at 10K+ really, there is no growth benefit and it probably gets worse the lower you get after that. But plants on the other hand like temperature in the 10k and lower range. More predominant in fresh water obviously, though there are some Macro algae tanks out there. The exact sweet spot varies for different things.

you could get the two light bars and then do a diy for Royal blue and blue supplement and end up with enough light to grow anything your skills will allow. And even if your diy skills are as lackluster as mine, you can get one made for pretty cheap too.
