    Does the LED systems for aquariums hav the same color qualities as say MH bulbs?

    No, most lack in spectrum. But they are getting closer. YOu can do a rapid kit with multiple colors to get close or their are a few brands that are coming closer. ecotech radion, or the ai vega color.

    Depends on the light. one of the reasons i went with an ecotech radion is that i compare the spectrum graph to a radium 20k bulb with is one of the most respected halides. Radions use red and green leds as well as whites and blues.

    You can get leds in a lot of different colors. If your question is "can i mimic the colors of a MH with leds"? then the answer is yes. Depending on the spectrum of the MH with the right combination of leds you can get pretty close to that same spectrum.

    Thanks everyone. The reason I asked is because I read where a lot of ads show only white and blue and a lot of people swear that they make their corals grow much faster.

    Yea white and blue is great for growth, but when you add the RGB colors the corals will look much more aesthetically pleasing.
