    I have 2 airlines on this skimmer, 1 for the vortex & 1 for the bubbles that go straight up and hit the surface , can i disconnect this one and add a airstone instead, fish are gasping/?

    If it doesnt affect the skimmer, yes, if it does, then try and get another air pump. Luna
