Like it says in the title, I have some Reef Nutrition Phyto-Feast that says it needs to stay refrigerated on the side. I accidentally forgot to put it back in the fridge and it sat out overnight (cap on and closed). Is it still ok or should I trash it??

For the price of that I would say throw it away. That would be like saying I left a gallon of milk out overnight. Should I save the $3 and keep it or throw it away.

Its a pretty large bottle....more like $20, and I would hate to waste it if I don't have to.

That is a pricey chunk of food to loose. Anytime I face a decision like that I try to look at the cost of my livestock and weigh it against the money Im trying to save by taking a risk.

    Is phyto a live food?

If it's Phyto-Feast Live vs regular Phyto-Feast, I would suspect it's toast. If it's already dead phyto, it's possibly fine. However, before using either kind again, I would recommend contacting Reed Mariculture. Larry,

You're more than welcome. Phyto-Feast Live says the words "live" in yellow letters on the bottle. (Kinda hard to see though)

I agree if its live toss it, the effect it could have on your system is NOT worth saving 20 bucks over.
