It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I like it very much. The middle arch concerns me though, did you use zip ties or epoxy to secure it.

What a wonderful system. I am sincerely envious, it's beautiful and you're obviously doing it right.

No epoxy or zip ties, but everything is really secure in place. nothing is "holding anything up". If I take off the top rock, the bottom one won't fall. Made sure if this as I was laying everything out. Didn't want to risk anything possibly tipping over.

Any chance there is an update available on this build? I'm in the very early stages of a 240 peninsula new build, and was hoping to see your set-up more completed. Really nice build.

Finally got my hands on some black plexiglass, so I cut me a cover to go over the overflow and dry boxes.

And cut me one to go over my filter socks as well because they were giving some splash particles all over the place.

    And now for the livestock!

After 3 months of it up and running, and 2 months being stocked, here are some updated pics. Corals grew a little bit, and some new fish at the bottom. Sorry for the crappy cell pics. It's all I got. :(

Wow 6 yellow tangs? I am afraid to put even one more in my tank as mine was pretty mean when I put my clowns in.

Tank looks great. any pics of the wood panels for the bottom of the stand? I am interested in how you going to make them.

Yeah, got plenty of fish in there.

    6 Yellow Tangs
    4 Scopas Tangs
    1 Vlamingi Tang
    1 Chevron Tang
    2 Clown fish
    1 Harlequin Tusk
    1 Black Cap Basslet
    1 Chalk Basslet
    1 Red Coris Wrasse
    1 Orange-back Fairy Wrasse
    1 Melanurus Wrasse
    1 Bellus Angel
    1 Janis Pipefish
    2 Bangaii Cardinals
    1 Pajama Cardinalfish

Don't have a problem with any of our fish getting along, or any problems with them and the corals. Still have a few more I want to get as well.

Also, if you look like 4 pics up, you'll see the finished tank with the bottom trim installed.
