BashSea is making a custom pellet reactor currently.

For those sized ones only 69$, amazing huh?

Just went through this whole thread...really slow at work ;).

I have a Bashsea pellet reactor sitting in my closet and I must admit the quality is very top notch. I'm on the winning side of a natural approach at eliminating some cyano. I want it gone before re-introducing pellets in my system.

What's that skimmer rated up to? Are you going to have a control valve for the output of the feed pump for it,or is the pump itself able to be adjusted? What's your current skimmer?

Yes its been a very slow go but quality cost extra lol. The skimmer with a mag 18 is rated up to 300gal but with a mag 24 should be able to handle 350-400. There is a needle valve for the control of output flow. The current skimmer i have is a eshopps HOB rated for 100gal.

How are going about getting rid of your cyano the natural way?

Part of the stand will be built by myself and the other im getting from reefwerks. My new stand will be stained dark cherry with high gloss polyurethane and green granite tops. As soon as im finished with my rough sketch ill post it.

I didn't mean your build was going slow...I was slow at work yesterday so I had the time to read through everything LOL!

I have that same Eshopps skimmer, it's put away now that I've upgraded. I just didn't feel it was cutting it, even for my smaller tank.

As for the Cyano, the usual methods, no chemicals. Manual removal, routine WC's( I had gotten lazy on those which is part of the cause). Increased flow with vortechs( I had Koralia's). Plus 2 or 3'd on the skimmer :) ! Using Dr Tim's re-fresh and waste-away products for the bacterial side of things. Tank is already looking much better than this time last month.
