Maybe i can help with the scape idea.

On another forum, someone with a huge tank made plexiglass shelves on one wall of the tank. On the right side, said person stacked the rocks in a pretty cool way, then on the left, the rocks started to slowly rise off the ground until there was a huge arch resting on the shelf. The rocks were all glued together in this part.

It gave the person an awesome, huge sand bed, as well as a ton of rock..

Best way to do it. Have the high capacity possibility ready! Did you see all your coral/rock with the other tank. Also, is your vertex going to be enough light on the new bad boy?

    Thank you :)

No i still have my 75gal up and running with all my fish and coral but thinking about selling that off as well, cause the new tank will go in the place where the 75gal is now. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately the vertex wont have enough spread for this big boy so i will be adding 2 more fixtures not vertex though lol cant shell out another 3k :(

One of the benefits of selling the 75 system is you can build your scape for the 300 with rods and the whole kitten kaboodle. Also you wont have any hitchhikers sneaking in and running rampant on the system.

the 75 would make a good sump/fuge too.
