Yes, I think that would work nicely.

 o_O Maybe cut the hole in the back of the cabinet rather than messing up the front?

If it was open under there i would, but its separated so i think that i will keep the front but turn the middle in to a door.

Would you mind uploading a picture of the cabinet (inside) to show us? I'm confused about how this cabinet is built. :p

I will second that. The holes in the bottom are not quite right... sure you can put an overflow box in and make it work... but a Bean would be a much better long term solution. Drill the holes and it would be great with a coast to coast... or even just a partial like "exactly" did... that's what I would do too... just put it across the back, but end it and leave room on the ends to run returns to because it get's complicated going through or around a coast to coast.

Just get a square of glass and silicone top and bottom if you wish to seal up the holes. Permanent solution.

I think I said 3 glass panes for the overflow in the PM, but you need 4 pieces obviously if you wanna do semi c2c.. anyway, thanks, its good to hear someone else says what you wanna say :)
Just remember the longer the overflow is, the thinner the water sheet gets. This means quieter as well. Mine is 38" long, the tank is 48".

Ya, a MP60 is pretty big. 2 40s will be good... maybe 3x 40s instead of one MP10... Oh, I assume you have the MP10 now?

Do you have a Apex? Apex/WMX/MP40s are an awesome solution.;)

Skimmers good. dose or reactor, that's up to you. Return pump and you are good to go.

I have one MP40 now, and i just bought a RKL Plus controller im thinking dosing will be the way for me to go its easy to adjust and calculate what i need. I have a very large return pump now its a little giant something like 1080gph at 6ft LOL so i think a mag drive 18 would work.

So about 1k and im good to go. Not to bad.

    That's a big pump.

1K to get this thing up and running? Not bad at all.
